Long Lost Cousins in Subic

Thursday, I received a message from my cousin inviting me to come with them to Subic.

I automatically said yes. This will be my chance to meet them. After 24 years, I will finally meet them. We never had the chance to see each other. They were seamen so they are always out of the country.

This time, we are all going to Subic (Olongapo)

We never actually planned to take the SCTEX route. One of my cousins made a wrong turn so we were all headed to Subic Freeport Zone. Although, we wasted a lot of time driving, getting lost and getting caught by a traffic enforcer 4 times, I tried to enjoy the moment.

And tadah--time to meet my cousins!

Finally, we arrived to our destination. Not quite impressive compared to the beaches I have been to before. I see ships everywhere.

And if there are ships, there's oil spill.. very sad :(

I love this pic. Baby simon was afraid at first to be left in the water.

After a while, he enjoyed taking a splash by himself.

There are few floating restaurants,

better-looking resorts in Subic, Olongapo like White rock resort.

This is also one of my favorite shot. We had a banca tour hoping to see snake island. Yes, we did see the island, but uhm.. not worth the 600 bucks we paid.

This is what they call white castle. It's in the middle of the 'sea'

Sigh, and i guess this is the best shot I had.

I want to go back to Subic and I want to try Zoobic safari and swim with the dolphins. Maybe on my birthday. I better start saving!

did my chores so im free from my laundry and housecleaning ritual for the whole weekend.

i need to finish reading the modules for my ITC exam this March. damn, my february weekend will be booked with this kind of routine: chores-read module-sleep

i tried to convince j to go out with me saturday night so i can have my nose stuck on those boring modules the whole day of Sunday.

but he said, he has a surprise for me. so i decided ill just bring the module to his place

while at his place, i asked him what his surprise was. and...

charan... a dvd (pirated dibidi) of Boyzone's concert. awww...sweet! I know it's a bit embarrassing for him rummaging through fake dibidis in stalls looking for a boyband concert cd, im still kileg.

So we watched the concert together although he laughed at Steve because he's gay and laughed at Keith's dance move, i didn't care. I'm still ethereally happy watching my boyz sing and groove. I missed them soo much!
