we rented a cabin with two floors. it has two rooms on the first and a beautiful attic-like second floor with 2 large beds. i definitely love our cabin!
unfortunately, the church was closed. so i just took this picture behind the door.
one must enjoy a leasurely walk in sagada. just look at the beautiful road leading to sumaguing cave.
If you plan for a caving adventure, make sure to book a guide in the municipal hall.
This is my buena mano pic inside the cave. This is a proof that nature does have a gender. :D
I was too scared to do rapelling. Thank goodness, our guide was a good teacher. He gave us useful pointers in conquering the cave - like a wet white stone is slippery and which rock to hold and which foot to use.
this is the most majestic spot in the cave (as far as we have reached)
The cave has different chambers but it takes a 'pro' caveman to do it, and some parts are closed from tourists like the crystal chamber.
After coming out from the cave, we satisfied ourself with the yummiest pancit in Caveman Restaurant just infront the Big Cave.
Full and tired, we headed to Lake Danum. It's better if you go to this lake during sunset. But I'm sure I will still see the sunset here. This is where I'm going to get married! I never knew how love at first sight feels until i saw this lake.
We spend some time marvelling at the lake then we headed back to town.
Below is a picture i took in Echo Valley. They were my sagada boyfriends.. just kidding.
Since I found a new boyfriend, I jumped with glee.
But I fell from the cliff and died. so they buried me here.
if the mountains in leyte are covered with coconut trees, in sagada, mountains are canopied with pine trees.
After a long walk, we had dinner in the coziest place in sagada - Log Cabin. We reserved a table and ordered our food in advance.
I sooo enjoyed the food here. Baked eggplant in tomato sauce and cheese is a must-try!
Also the pork chop.
After dinner, I had coffee and then told my breakup story with one of my trav buddy. hehe
We went back to our cabin and there we rested in peace.. haha
And the next day, we left sagada :(
